Sen. Booker's response was one of codifying her fear, and declaring that he will take the fight to the NRA.

Tony Katz agrees: shooting the teachers is ridiculous. However, the commentary and ham-fisted argument of Rep. Ocasio-Cortez on school safety - that it is not necessary to train teachers and students for active shooter situations if we had, among other things, universal background checks and safe storage laws - is not just wrong, it's ugly and dangerous.

"Can't you (Rep. Ocasio-Cortez) stop just for a moment?" says Tony. "We're talking about the lives of children. Why is it that you're ok with children and teachers not being trained to deal with problematic, dangerous situations?"

Now, the Pentagon has stated that no transgendered person (or those with Gender Dysphoria) will be allowed to enlist in the US military after April 12th. Tony Katz speaks with Military.com managing editor Hope Seck about the decision, unit efficiency and the military as a tool of social change.

However, as Tony Katz notes, that traction comes at the expense of Indiana.

Like Indiana media did during the RFRA (Religious Freedom Restoration Act) conversation, Buteegieg didn't miss a moment to try and elevate himself while attempting to put down Hoosiers. Tony Katz gets to the heart of the matter. Why would Jussie Smollett do this, the MSM asks and laments? Simple: he wanted "Reputation Capital," and he thought nothing of attacking, demeaning, lying about and dehumanizing Trump supporters to get it.

The real story is that Jussie Smollet, and those who think like him, have so dehmanized the Trump supporter and others who disagree with them that they were willing to accuse them of crimes and let them be found guilty for them when they did nothing wrong. And they did it for cultural advancement - for Reputation Capital - and for a paycheck.

In response, video of the boy selling cocoa received comments calling him a "Little Hitler."

Tony Katz explains why this is one of the ugliest stories in America:

First, don't use your kid as a political prop. I hate it when Democrats do this, and I feel the same when it's done by the GOP. If you support the wall, that's fine. But your seven year-old shouldn't be the way you show your support.
And if you're so anti-wall and, really, anti- President Trump that you will call a seven year-old, "Little Hitler," you need to see a therapist and get medicated. Quickly. Now.

But media across America did not wait for the facts: they declared Smollett was telling the truth and wasted no time attacking Trump supporters. Celebrities and presidential candidates like Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) joined in, going so far as to call it a "lynching."

Chicago reporters had taken their time with the story, doing the hard work of journalism, and covered the events properly. Tony Katz speaks with Chicago FOX 32 reporter and anchor Rafer Weigel about the Smollett case, and the state of journalism in America.

Hogsett claimed that Merritt takes his "marching orders" from the NRA, and that gun rights is out of step with Marion County voters. Hogsetts NRA attack is ill-timed, as the NRA is holding it's annual meeting in Indianapolis in April. The event will bring an estimated $55 million to the city.

Tony Katz talks about the personal nature of the attack, and how out of touch Mayor Hogsett is with Indianapolis and America.

Tony Katz spoke with prominent Indianapolis Rabbi Ben Sendrow about Rep. Omar's tweets, whether antisemitism is on the rise and what he thought of Rep. Omar's apology.

The two also discussed if there is something wrong with critizing Israel on policy. "Of course not." said Rabbi Sendrow.

As Tony Katz says, "I don't defend that. It's ugly. And that's being kind."

However, the outrage over the photo was met by nearly equal silence over his endorsing if not advocating infanticide as part of an abortion bill bring proposed in Virginia.

Tony wonders why one gets outrage and one gets barely a mention?

Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam, in a radio interview, went so far as to say that a mother and her doctor could decide what to do with an infant after it is born. Yes, Gov. Northam used the word infant, and yes, Northam (who is also a physician!) clearly stated that choices can be made about the infant's future after birth.

What is true, says Tony Katz, is that Phillips is a liar. Phil Kerpen of American Commitment joins Tony to discuss the real story of Phillips: he lied about serving in Vietnam. He also has a history of aggressive behavior, and inserting himself into bad situations.

So why did media continue to push the lie that Phillips himself was attacked/accosted/insulted? And will any media correct the record?

Tony Katz thinks its important to remember that they are kids. And, they didn't do anything wrong.

"When kids were murdered in Parkland, FL, and the high-profile students became cable news fixtures, I reminded people that you may disagree with what they are saying, about guns and the Second Amendment," says Tony. "But they are kids. Remember that."

"Yet, when it comes to Covington Catholic students, media professionals and elected officials seem to think they are fair game for violence and vitriol based on lies. They're not. It's just wrong, and they're wrong."

"I've noticed, way too many times, where adults think children should have agency. They think children should be able to make choices that no child can make." says Tony. "That's not helping children. That's not advocating for children. That's child abuse."

As Tony says, Trump Derangement Syndrome is very real. And the result of the syndrome is impossible to deny.

She told the New York Daily News editorial board that New York should pass the legislation first. Then, later, they can figure out how to fund it.

Wait. Wut?

Tony is quickly reminded of Rep. Nancy Pelosi's famous insanity, that we had to pass Obamacare, "to find out what is in it."

But, does it have anything to do with Nike and Colin Kaepernick? Listen!!!

"This is what happens when you hate Trump and believe your own hype!" said Tony. "It's the picture of elitism. Booker believes that he is the arbiter of decency and justice, and that rules that get in his way must be sidestepped for the good of the country. Who votes for this guy?"

But a look into the emails shows that they aren't about racial profiling in general, but are specific to conversation that happened in the wake of 9/11; literally months after the attacks.

UPDATE - It was learned, after the show, that Bush WH lawyers had cleared the memos Booker released. Meaning that Booker's show of bravado was nothing more than bad acting from a bad actor.

SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh has his second day of confirmation hearings, and the political Left has not stopped with their embarrassing, foolhardy, nonsense antics. And Tony talks about two new studies regarding children and the idea of eing transgender.

Tony Katz covers how media and Florida Democrats claimed GOP Governor candidate Rep. Ron DeSantis is blowing racist dog whistles by saying of Democrat candidate, Mayor Andrew Gillum, that his socialist agenda is not what Florida wants, and they shouldn't “...monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state. Gillum is black. And media and the Democrats lied about what DeSantis said to try and paint him as a racist.

If that wasn't enough of a crazy, CNN's legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin said that the reason Preisdent Trump is no fan of ANTIFA is because they are "predominantly black." Yeah...that's not true at all.

The Department of Education had some extremely high numbers about the amount of school shootings in America. When NPR investigated - yes. NPR! - they discovered the numbers are far lower than being reported. The question is why?

ABC is going forward with Roseanne without Roseanne, renaming it The Conners. But Tony questions the rumor that the plan is to kill off the Roseanne character.

Oh, and playing Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch is nearly impossible!

New York Democratic (Socialist) Mayor Bill DeBlasio goes on CNN to tell Brian Stelter that FOX News and the New York Post are destroying America with their "lies," while CNN is straight down the middle, unbiased news.

But, as Tony Katz notes, the Left is not satisfied with this clearly rational answer. The Progressive online mob wants Jones gone, and is demanding that Dorsey do their bidding. They're just like Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut, who stated that banning Jones was just a beginning. Because, as he said it, "The future of our Democracy depends on it."

This is the Democratic Party's logic: Save Democracy by silencing others.

Lemon then took over nine minutes of his TV broadcast to lay a serious of claims at Trump's feet, the most egregious being that President Trump is a racist.

It took Tony about that time to explain why Lemon's comments were simply untrue. And, with just a little bit of out-of-the-box thinking, exactly how out of bounds much of what Lemon said really is.

Over 60 people were shot, and 12 were killed in Chicago over the weekend. When do we start discussing the culture underneath that leads to this violence? "White kids shoot in schools, and the majority of shootings on the street are by black kids and men," says Tony. "There is something cultural to both of these things...maybe we should talk about it so we can, you know, fix it."

And with a big election coming for Mayor in Chi-Town, maybe residents can try this one idea that just might make a difference.

Oh, and a woman had an emergency C-Section without any pain meds. She's suing the hospital, which tried to make it right with a $25 gift card to the gift shop.

Actor Peter Fonda, the same Peter Fonda who thought President Trump's son should be given to pedophiles to protest border separations, is now suggesting that parents vote for their millennial children. Said another way, Peter Fonda is advocating for voter fraud.

And, according to the web, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is the leader of the free world.

LeBron said Trump was dividing the nation through sports, and is unwilling to even speak to him face to face. On Twitter, President Trump called him dumb, and says Michael Jordan is better.

Let's end this: LeBron's comments were rude and arrogant. Trump's tweet was nonsense. Can we focus on the important things now?

Also, Tony needs a dog. But which one?

The problem is that the media has not recognized their complict role in creating this issue. "The junkie needs to accept the fact that their on the junk!"

Also, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb - after vandalism at an Indianapolis area synagogue - has thrown his support behind hate crimes legislation. Tony thinks it's a bad idea to create groups of people who are more protected than others.
